Minty Green Smoothie

I got a wonderful message from my cousin and aunt, who sent me pictures of their morning green smoothie and the recipe. I am so pleased with their amazing drink! We had talked about making green smoothies while on our morning run together, so I really appreciated them sharing. It looks delicious, doesn’t it?

This recipe can be gluten-free, vegan, dairy-free, egg-free, and nut-free.

Preparation time: 5 minutes

Serves 2

Ingredients:

– 330 ml coconut water

– 4 yoghurt ice cubes (freeze unsweetened yoghurt in ice cube trays)

– 1 teaspoon cinnamon

– 1/2 teaspoon rice malt syrup

– handful spinach leaves

– 1/2 cucumber

– small handful mint leaves

– 2/3 avocado

– 1 Tablespoon chia seeds

Method:

1. Place all ingredients in a blender, and whiz until smooth. Pour into two glasses, and enjoy! 🙂
